GUIDELINE*

  I. BASIC INFO ,  

This is an independent, highly selective & completely CANON-DIVERGENT roleplaying blog for ARISATO MINATO, the male protagonist of the video game PERSONA 3. Any interactions on my blog will require us to be mutual followers; likewise, this blog will be low-actively, as I do have a social life outside of roleplaying, plus my learning disability make it rather hard for me to write at times. With that said, i don’t usually follow people back right away, it usually takes me a couple of days to go through somebody's blogs & decide if it worth following or not. Please don’t be offended if I do not follow you back ! i will always soft-block your blog, if I happened to not see the possibly of us interaction at all.

  II. PORTRAYAL / CANON-DIVERGENT ,  

My portrayal of minato is primarily video game / spinoff-based, with minor influences from the four movies and manga. To avoid being asked about the subject of my canon-divergent, minato is entirely separated from the canonical timeline of persona and instead follow through a different timeline altogether. The timeline that plays out for my muse would be as such;
( Persona 3 → Persona Q → The Answer → Persona 4 → Persona 4 Arena Ultimax → Persona 5 Royal: Yaldabaoth Ending. ) The reasoning behind such a change, is due to my affiliated partners that become integral to my portrayal, both within my blog and outside of it. Apologizes to anyone who is bothered by this, however, this is for preference sake !This blog will strictly stick with fandomless verse or pre-persona 3 with ' FALLING DAWN ' as my prefer interaction verses for those who'd like to roleplay in persona 3 setting. The event that plays out in persona 3 stays entirely the same, thus you do not need to concern yourself too much about what has been changed.Last but not least, this blog is entirely UNAFFILIATED with the persona rpc. i have very little interest with roleplaying with those that take part of the persona community, aside from few exception to said rule of mine. i'd much prefer to have my interaction with those outside of said community.

  III. ROLEPLAY ETIQUETTE ,  

Standard roleplay etiquette applies here. Read rules page thoroughly, do not steal anything from my blog without permission, do not partake in/reblog private threads, do not godmod or metagame that is not minor things or without permission, cut long posts, turn asks into a separate post entirely if continuing, etc.     MINOR(S) & PRO-SHIPPERS DO NOT FOLLOW     I refuse to interact with minors or pro-shippers, do not attempt to interact with me.

  IV. TRIGGERS ,  

Due to the nature of my muse and the series he is from, this blog will contain sensitive ( death, mention of parent's death, violence, self-harm, self-sacrifice, suicide imagery / suicide ideation, subject matters that mention greek mythology. ) Though I will always make a conscious effort to tag it all accordingly. everything will be appropriately tagged as “ insert trigger name // ”. As for the subject of my triggers, all I ask is for you to tag “ IRL SPIDERS ” and anything related to “ NECK SLICED OPEN. ”

  V. SHIPPING ,  

    I WILL NO LONGER BE DOING ANY ROMANCE SHIPPING ON THIS BLOG     As of 2023, I’ve got little to no motivation in doing romance pairing for minato, I am perfectly happy with the current romance pairing that I have on my blog. Thus, I don't see any benefit of doing any more romantic pairing for him. Obviously, this is subject to change at any point in my blog but as it currently stands, I'd prefer to have any and all relationship to NOT be romance, unless we already have one currently. Your muse is allowed to have a crush on minato, but it'll be one-sided.As for the subject of pre-established relationships, I am very much opened to said idea ! Whether it is a friendship, kinship, rivals, enemies, and so forth. I do not mind what type of relationship that our muses will have nor do I mind discussing ahead of time of what sort of relationship our muses would have to began with. minato's whole character development through the game was to find a purpose in life to those bonds that he had develop with being around others.

  VI. FIGHT / BATTLE(S) ,  

Despite his appearance, Minato is canonically strong. Numerous times within the game, he’s been made fun of for his appearance. Appearing as nothing but a ‘ Pretty boy ’ with no physical strength in him. However, it’s been proven time and time again that is not the case. He is quite strong. He's able to single-handedly take down three street punks that had been harassing his friend without breaking a sweat. Heck, he hardly values his own life, often getting into danger without a second thought. And post persona 3 does not help this case with him having the ability of Universe && becoming a Messiah in the process. If you want your muse to fight or battle him, It'll be far better for the two of us to have a discuss first before anything else.

  VII. MUN ,

Which often makes writing both IC and OOC hard for me at times, while I do my best to use the resources provided online. There will be grammar mistake some way or another. a messiah, disguised as a teenage boy. reserved, cold, stoic && aloof— the observes type in most conversations, only speaking aloud when someone is directed asking for his opinion. these traits make him almost impossible to approach at times, many attempting ( & many failing to succeed any form of friendship. ) many of these attempts were met with cold remarks that appeared uncaring to many, while others a half-ass conversation that were being carried by others rather than himself— he would gain the reputation of "pretty face but an icy heart" within his school. while seeming to be aware of the fact that he comes off as unapproachable && difficult to maintain any form of relationships. no effort ever made to change change it.Death had been consider the closest to a friend, never fearing the coming day in which he'd be unable to draw his last breath— undoubtable a result of the traumatizing event of witnessing the deaths of his beloved parents. with life && death being seen as nothing but a thread that is bound to intertwine in the very end— finding no motivation to continue on with life. at the same time, finding little reason to end it. only patiently waiting for the day, in which Death itself fully come to reclaim what is his. Ironically, it is neither a pro or a con. battles became nothing more than a playground to him, barely paying no mind for one own wounds or exhaustion. his life matters little to him, his only TRUE concern were those who did manage to drawn a connection with him— cracking open a shell of his former self, that many wouldn't see ( kind, caring && compassionate. ) he's still human. there's no denying that, even the cold-hearted boy had his own set of emotions.

December 2nd, 1999

on the night of December 2nd, 1999, an "accident" would unfold on the night of Moonlight Bridge in Iwatodai. A mother, father && child would get into a car crash, with the only survivor being the child by the name of Arisato Minato. a miracle, was what he often heard from the many adults around him. often the child being dead alongside their parents when it came to the subject of extremely bad accidents. && with the child, managing to survive with only bruises && minors cuts. it had become nothing more than what they've called it, ( a miracle ! ) alas, to the child, it was the totally opposite of that. a new family was bound to be expected, with a relative from afar taking custody of him. yet, the troublesome affair would break out && the realization of how much responsibility the family had to carry with a child in their life became far too much for them to handle. with no other choice, he'd be sent to another relative that also prove to be unable to handle Minato. he'd be moved around countlessly for years to come, never staying long enough to get adjusted to his new surroundings nor make friends in the process due to this. it'll not be long before he was sent off to an orphanage, in which he'd spend the majority of his childhood && pre-teen. && the dream of a new family became nothing more than what it was: ( a dream. )

April 7th, 2009

on April 7th, 2009 Minato Arisato would be on the train to Tatsumi Port Island, his hometown. being transferred over to a new school called Gekkoukan High School, school founded by the Kirijo Group. with that knowledge in mind. it does not come as a surprise that the school is known to only accept students with remarkable grades && perfect attendance. only those of the best would be able to attend the school, so it came to little surprise that Minato Arisato would be accepted into the school. Minato was to be expected to arrive during the afternoon, but due to a young man successful suicide attempt onto the train tracks, it'll result in the trains to be postpone && arriving to the city late at midnight. during his walk to his new dorm, he experiences the Dark Hour. coffin appearing on the streets, with blood present on the concrete floor. all internet && electricity no longer function, the once busy city now seeming abandon. Minato, however, would not question it. going about his day to day life, as though everything around him was nothing but normal. seemingly unaffected, by everything around him. it is only when he had arrived to the dorm, he'd meet a young boy. who promptly gives him a contract to sign."Please sign your name there, it's a contract. Don't worry, all it says you'll accept full responsibility you know, the usually stuff."

April 9th, 2009 ( FULL MOON )

the days would pass by, and gossip && rumors spread around the school ground ( the lone survivor of a tragedy that unfolded ten years ago. ) ignoring all talks in the school, proceeding on with his life without a care. during what should've been nothing more than an ordinary night, would be interrupted by an attack. ( shadow of the night ) appearing outside the dorm building, brutally attacking everything && everyone within it's facility. an unlucky event ( at least, that is what it should've been seen as. ) would become the night in which he'd awaken an ability he had no knowledge of having. with his Senpeis doing the best of their ability to fight back the shadows, the girl named Yukari Takeba. was tasked to assure Minato's safety comes first. dragging him across the dormitory, the shadows nearly catching up to the two. it'll only be when the two found themselves now trapped on the roof of the dorm, with no escape. Yukari ( without a hint of warning ) pulled out what appeared to be a gun, holding such a dangerous weapon on her forehead. nearly appearing to end it all, however, before such a case could happen. the shadow would attack her, the gun ( later revealed to be called an evoker ) sliding across the boy's foot. truth be told, he had no idea what prompted him to pick up the evoker. was it a result of desperation? to end of all? ( no, that wasn't it. ) rather a voice, a single voice would ring out in his mind. flashes of memories of the tragedy that had taken the life of his parents crapped in the boy's mind, ( he didn't wish to see someone else die in front of him. ) the ringing of the voice spoke louder with each passing second, && slowly, he'd raise the evoker to his head, finger ready to pull the trigger. he does not hesitate on it, only offering a smirk that is followed with one single line...

HEADCANONS*

 Don't ease your pace, 'cuz enemy's brutal⸻ *

  AMAXOPHBIA.   ⸻ With the traumatizing event that had taken the life of his parents, Minato developed amaxophobia, a fear of driving or riding in a vehicle ( such as car, bus & plane. ) although, he only has a fear of being in car && buses alike. other transportation vehicles hardly causes any concern for the boy, in the subject in which he happened to be inside a car, however. his anxiety will spike up, his heartbeat && breathing picking up in speed. if he happened to remain in the car for too long without in between breaks, he'll began to have a breakdown. there is solutions in helping Minato out with such things ( starting a conversation to keep his mind busy, in between stops / breaks, listening to music, holding the other close if asked. ) however, these are only temporarily solutions that can only work for so long. Minato will do what he can to avoid being inside the vehicle, only ever pushing his comfort out for something of importance.  PARENTHOOD.   ⸻ while Minato adore children, he is rather hesitate on the idea of having his own kids. whether it is biological or foster. much more preferring the idea of not having any children of his own, fearing the idea that the child themselves will be left alone without a parent if something were to happened to him similarly to what happened to his parents. it’ll take some convincing to get him to agree to have any sort of children with him.  RELATIONSHIPS.   ⸻ more specifically, romantic relationships. Minato never went on any dates with the girls that he had spoken to, all the girls that he had spoken too were nothing more than friends. however, that would not stopped the boy from devolving romantic interests. Aigis, despite not being human, had been someone that he'd grow an interest in. the other would be a boy by the named Ryoji Mochizuki, although not immediate Minato would realize his feelings for the boy overtime. with Ryoji being the person that had made him realized that he was bisexual. despite this, he never confessed his feelings to either of the two.  VIOLINIST.   ⸻ in his previous schools, he'd attend afterschool Music class. the classes were required to have each student learn an instrument, Minato opted out to learning the violin as opposed to the other popular instrument such as guitars && drums. being a rather quick learner, he'd master the basic learning skills of the violin without a few weeks. truly being good with it within a matter of months, unlike most students. he practice constantly on it, even when he had transferred over to other school. would often pick the music classes with the violin always being his choice of instrument. although, he does have some basic knowledge of other instrument as a result of the other students teaching him.  VOCAL RANGE.   ⸻ back on the subject of music classes, there had been the occasional moments in where him && the other students would be taught about their voice range. even those, who had little interest in singing alike. would had been taught how to control the pitch of their voices. how using more air && speaking with your voice head rather than your chest can, at times, cause your voice to slightly change. he'd learned the skills about it over his years, resulting in him having the ability to change his voice slightly. oddly enough, if done right, his voice can mimic that of Ryoji Mochizuki.  KENDO.   ⸻ once Minato had transferred over to Gekkoukan High School. Minato original plan for afterschool classes, were to take Music. Like he had done with his previous schools, however, once becoming apart of S.E.E.S. Minato decided to enroll himself in Kendo. as a mean to improve his battle skills, when it comes to balance, posture, strength && so forth.MORE HEADCANON(S) CAN BE LOCATED HERE .
